Why Bring Your Training Program into the 21st Century?

With the growth of mobile based computing, companies have the capability to actively engage with employees and provide educational content online, anytime, anywhere and on any device. Technology has allowed businesses to increase sales and extend product reach via the Internet; however, companies worldwide are still facing a challenge when it comes to incorporating e-learning technological capabilities into their traditional training and educational programs.

There are advantages to developing and implementing e-learning into a traditional training program, including, but not limited to:
  • Saving money directly to the bottom-line
  • Saving time with immediate access to online courses
  • Minimizing travel costs for traditional training sessions
  • Reaching geographically diverse personnel quickly and easily
  • Delivering more self-driven and individualized education
The transition into e-learning is not easy, and training managers face a number of questions: What Learning Management System (LMS) should I use? What e-learning course development and authoring tool should I purchase? Where can I find content and can I reuse it in multiple e-learning courses? The list goes on, and finding the answers can be a time-consuming struggle. As a leading developer of e-learning software development tools and courseware, D2 TEAM-Sim can help you navigate through the questions and lead you to the right set of answers.

D2 TEAM-Sim has a unique approach to creating e-learning content. We work collaboratively with training managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and project managers to develop engaging and cost effective e-learning solutions that speak directly to the business’s e-learning goals. Through D2 TEAM-Sim’s commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tool, DIF®, businesses can collaboratively:
  • Develop a course that can be easily and efficiently maintained
  • Update content from traditional material into web-based assets
  • Organize assets into a global, online repository, facilitating the creation of future courses
  • Review and comment collectively throughout the entire process
  • Produce courses that can be easily uploaded to any Learning Management System (LMS)
DIF® developed courses can seamlessly integrate video, 2D and 3D graphics, flash interactions and videos (.swf and .flv files), immersive game-based simulations, and HTML5 content to fully engage your learners and provide maximum retention rates. The platform provides a repository for the management and reuse of all content assets, enabling the rapid development and updating of courses. Relevant personnel can work collaboratively, through the cloud, on the development, review, and distribution of courseware. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) can review and add comments, while graphic artists, programmers, and media specialists create and modify assets.
