D2 TEAM-Sim Delivers Training Prototypes for Raytheon IDS
Two training demonstration programs, developed by D2 TEAM-Sim, were featured in the Raytheon Integrated Defense System Division booth at the recent AUSA show in Washington, D.C. The Association of the United States Army show is one of the largest military contractor shows held in the US. Raytheon, one of the largest defense contractors in the world contracted D2 TEAM-Sim to design and develop examples of Interactive Multimedia Instructional training that showcased D2's capability as well as demonstrated how this training could be developed quickly, cost effectively, and help the U.S. Army modernize the way our Patriot Missile Systems Operators are trained. D2 TEAM-Sim delivered a one hour training module on how to perform a Patriot Launch Station 2-Man Crew Drill, and two 30 minute training modules that cover topics related to the Patriot Engagement Control Station. The training demos blended traditional video-based training with interactive gaming technology in a unique and engaging manner. Best of all, the training demonstrations we all built with an international audience in mind, and can be deployed in any language with a minimal amount of effort. The demonstrations brought rave reviews from all levels of the armed forced: from Patriot Battery operators to 2-Star Generals. And did we mention that all of the training modules delivered were developed in under 4 weeks?
